  1. Uncle Bill………I always thought that ALL the honey comb in the world came from Uncle Bill’s bees. Ahhhhhhhh the patience that man showed, as my mouth rattled on endlessly,as I followed behind his footsteps so long ago…. Uncle Bill, you’ll be missed, but it’s a blessing to know you are on another “plane” now and “pain” isn’t in the vocabularies there! God Bless your sweet heart.

  2. Things I remember about my father?

I remember his larger than life passion for everything he did.

I remember him waking before me each day and going to work and arriving home late after dark. I was told that as a small child I ran terrified from my father because I didn?t know who he was. After that day the long hours he dedicated didn?t seem to keep him away from spending time with me anymore. He would take me with him on business trips or bringing me back a tee-shirt. He would buy me a ?peanut-pattie? or an ?orange-wedge slice? candy. He would take me on vacations in New Mexico and we would go hunting together. Never again would I feel forgotten.

My Father always talked about ?going the extra mile? to be successful and ?killing people with kindness?. I remember the sincere concern he showed with others and the kind words he always had to say. He would tell me one day that people don?t make themselves successful in life, other people make someone successful. He further explained to me that he felt his greatest achievements in life were due to the success of those around him and I remember how he would give ?the shirt off his back? for others.

My Father ?filled a large pair of shoes? in life, but set an positive example for me of how to live. I?ll always remember the time we spent together and will miss our educational talks and his wise advice. Forever will he be etched in my heart and his love embraced in my life.

This is what I remember of my Father!

  3. I worked with Bill at T.I.S. We partied together at company gatherings and we hunted together. Bill would always work with you on any endeavor, but Bill believed in doing things the right way. He looked after his people and his friends. He was one of the finest men I’ve known. We will miss him.
