Wesley Robinson
Wesley (Wes) Aubrey Robinson Sr., age 80, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 in Granbury, TX. Wesley was born October 6, 1941 in Tarzan, TX to William and Vera Robinson (Thames). Proceeded in death by his parents William and Vera Robinson and his brothers Andrew and Tommy Robinson. Wesley is survived by his children Lisa Earley (Robinson), Michele (Robinson) & Robert VanderZouwen and Wesley & Kelly Robinson Jr.; his grandchildren Sophia, Stephanie, Ehlana, Rebecca, and Steven; and his great-grandchildren Conner, Austin, Taylor, Jordan, Lennon and MJ. He also leaves behind three sisters, Mary Sue Riskus, Linda LaRue Bynum and Wanda King and one brother, Andy Robinson as well as a host of other family and friends including his life companion, Jeane Lawson. Wes grew up in and around Clyde, TX and graduated from Clyde High School. He went on to Texas A&M University graduating in 1967 with a bachelor’s degree in Agronomy. His love of animals and nature was instilled at a very early age having grown up on a farm. At 23, Wes married and soon after came his three children Lisa, Michele and Wes Jr. After college he went into sales eventually landing with a company that sold photographic equipment. In 1983 he opened his own company that sold and serviced photographic processing equipment called Foto Quip of Texas, Inc. He traveled extensively for work and for pleasure often combining the two. He made friends everywhere he went. His favorite photographs were of nature and old buildings but also loved photographing his family. In retirement, Wes spent most of his time with his beloved pets, family and friends including a flock of chickens the last several years. He was a very kindhearted soul. A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 2 pm on April 9th in Bryan, TX. Our family would appreciate if you could share a special memory on the digital guestbook.
