Wanda Grace Hair, 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by family and was received into the hands of the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2016. Memorial service: celebrating the life of Wanda will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 14, at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. She was born in Iowa Park on Sept. 28, 1933. She spent the majority of her life as a devoted wife and mother spreading her graciousness amongst her family, friends and neighbors, all of whom she loved so dearly. Her many interests included crossword puzzles, gardening, nature and antiques, and she always rooted for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys. She was a throwback to a different generation having never owned a computer, cell phone or even an answering machine. She was a resident of Burleson for 45 years, volunteered as a Briaroaks election judge and donated to many charitable causes. The family would like to thank the pulmonary staff at Huguley Hospital for taking care of Wanda during the last days of her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Dillard; mother, Martha Dillard; and her husband, James. Survivors: Her sons, Kelly, Jeff and daughter-in-law, Sharon, Jon; and grandchildren, Austin, Andrea, Christopher and Connor.
