  1. My Dear Sweet Sandy,

It took me a while to do this note because like you and the boys I am very heart broken over Teddy’s death.

  2. I love all of you very much! Teddy was an outstanding person and uncle. I’m going to miss him so much. I remember everytime I was around him he always looked you in the eyes and had a huge warm smile on his face. He was always ready to help and be there for others. My heart goes out to you Sandra,Craig and Chance and you are in my prayers.

  4. Sandy, Marti and I send our deepest sympathy and if there’s anything we can do, just name it. I had the pleasure of getting to spend some time with Teddy while you girls were together and found him to be a stand-up guy! He was fun and easy going and we visited about computers, fishing, and cars; among many other things; and he was just a great guy. We enjoyed you coming to our home and I only wish I could have spent more time with him. You will be in our thoughts and prayers and when you girls come in the spring I’ll go to the coast and catch a big one for Teddy! Take care and God Bless you and your family,

    Jim

  5. Sandra,

My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. I know words can not take away the pain, but gain strength from the Lord.

I have always heard wonderful stories about you and Teddy. I know Mom has always valued your friendship and I thank you both for that.

I know that the kind of bond you girls from Sweetwater High have is very special and that you are each blessed because of that. Remember when you are down, how much they love you and pick up the phone and call them-lean on them.

  6. Sandra,

I am so saddend to hear of your loss. I know there is nothing I can say to ease your pain and sorrow at this time. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Kay

  9. Although I worked with Ted for the past twenty years, it was only in the last few years that I got to know him, and I am deeply saddened by his passing.

He will be remembered fondly by those of us at the Star-Telegram who were honored to call him friend, and I will sincerely miss those days when we had time to talk about our shared experiences vacationing in Colorado. You have earned your rest, and I hope Heaven looks just like Estes Park. Sleep well my friend.

  10. Dearest Sandy,

My thoughts and prayers are with you.

    In God’s Peace,

    Sandy Shipp

  14. I grew up with Teddy and Sandy in West Texas. What I remember most is that Teddy and Sandy were life mates. They were together always; dating through high school to being married for over 30 years. Teddy laughed a lot and I always loved being around him. He will be missed. I know he is rejoicing with our Lord in heaven while we grieve his loss here. I hope in our Lord Jesus to see him again one day in glory.

  15. Teddy was my older brother, someone whom I could always depend on, someone whom I have always loved very much and wished I was more like, especially his gentle, kind nature.

  16. My uncle Teddy was the most easy-going calm and sweetest man I have ever had the honor of knowing or meeting. I remember when I was a young chid that every time the family got together he was always so happy to see us and never remember a time when there was not a smile on his face.

I know this is probably one of the hardest things Sandra, Craig, and Chance will ever have to go through.

I hope that you all are ok and you are in my prayers. I love you, Lisa
