BURLESON- Sherry Lee Long, 69 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday January 17, 2015. CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 2:00 pm Saturday, January 24th at Mayfield-Kiser Funeral Home, Burleson, TX. SURVIVORS: She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Garner and Son-n-law Rob Garner; grandchildren, Jennifer and Colt and son, John Satterfield and daughter-n-law Deborah Satterfield; grandchildren, Silver, Jonathan and Andrew; Mother, Norma Lee Clements; Sister, Beverly Vallance and many nephews and nieces and many family members that she held dear to her heart. Sherry will be truly missed by everyone she met and the lives that she touched. IN MEMORY It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. A part of us went with you, the day God took you home. If tears could build a stairway, and heartaches make a lane, we’d walk our way to heaven, and bring you back again. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still, in our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill.

  1. I have so any fun memories. We were married to brothers. We had our daughters 6 weeks apart. Our sons were born close together. We attended Church together.
We separated and divorced about the same time. Then we lived together with our 4 children. You worked nights, I worked days, so we could be with our children as much as possible.
And most of all you showed me how to have a good time. It was the first time we were on our own in our lives as adults to discover the fun things in life and boy did we have fun!!!!!
You advised me to marry my 2nd husband,to whom I was married for 28 years.
These later years separated us by miles when I moved to Port Isabel.
The picture of the four of us was the first time we were together in at least 35 years. It was fun that night reminiscing about our fun married times.
May the Good Lord Bless Your Family,
    I will always be your
    Aunt Dana
