Robert Keller
Robert Keller, 82, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on February 10, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. Bob was known as “the nice one”! Robert, known as Bob, was born July 16, 1941 in Syracuse, New York. He graduated from Syracuse University with a masters in education. He was a school teacher for 36 years. He loved teaching, gardening and was an avid reader. His passion were his pets, especially Noodle, who has a book written about her. Bob met Ronnie in September of 1990. From that point on they were inseparable. Over the years they had many pets they adored, starting with Hamlet the pig and most recently Bella, Penelope and old man Max who is 17 years old. Ronnie and Bob were married in Fort Worth on September 7, 2015, exactly 25 years to the day they met. Just showing how sentimental and special Bob was about his love for Ronnie. Bob is preceded in death by his mother, Cora Bratt Keller and father, Harold Keller. Bob is survived by his husband Ronnie Beaty, and his brother Bill Keller. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Fort Worth Abandoned Animal Alliance. FWabandoned.org A celebration of Bob’s life will be held from 1pm to 3pm on March 3, 2024 at the Drobnich Residence, 1719 Catalina Court, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
