Richard “Scott” Tullos was born on August 17, 1976 in Houston, TX. He passed away on November 1, 2022 in Richardson, Texas. Scott proudly served 4 years in the United States Army as a SPC 4 Combat Engineer where he received several Ribbons and Commendations. He also served in the Army Reserve and he was a member of the American Legion #321 in Plano, TX where he held the office of Adjutant.
In recent years, Scott chose to pursue a college degree and became an accountant which he was extremely good at. He loved his family and was most proud of his fiancé, Jenn. They were engaged and were planning to be married in March, 2023.
Scott was an avid reader, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and cheering on his favorite college football team, The University of Alabama’s Crimson Tide. He was a great cook, whether in the kitchen or in front of a grill he loved cooking. He loved to experiment with recipes and discovered that Jenn does too so together they enjoyed cooking and developing recipes which led to starting their catering company “The Weekly Special”.
He was a friend to many people, the kind of friend that anyone would love to have. He had an infectious smile, a great sense of humor and loved to sing karaoke at his mother’s Funtime Karaoke shows along with his friends.
Early on in life Scott became a Christian and it brings us great comfort knowing that he is with our Heavenly Father, celebrating with all those he loved who entered Heaven before him, and knowing we will one day reunite with him in our Eternal home.
