Renee' Annette Lewis
Renee’ Annette Lewis passed away Sep. 12, 2016 from complications of Type 1 Diabetes. Service: 10:00 am Friday September 16, 2016 at Pathway Church in Burleson, Texas . Visitation: 6-8:00 pm Thursday September 15, 2016 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Born June 19, 1960 on Father’s Day in Elizabeth Town, KY.  Graduated from Cedar Valley College in 1984 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science and a Registered Veterinary Technician.  Renee loved animals. She showed hunters for 37 years and the last 10 years she did agility with her dogs. She also did therapy work with her dogs visiting nursing homes & children’s hospitals. Preceded in death by parents & brother, Ron. Survived by husband Michael J. Lewis; son, Paul and wife, Alicia; daughter, Nichole Burmeir & husband, Dustin;  daughter, Kelly Lewis & granddaughter, Olivia Burmeir; brother, Richard Lamar & wife, Nedra. In lieu of flowers please donate to Beagle Freedom Project.

  3. Renee always had a smile and a kind word to say no matter what was going on. I always admired her ability to enjoy her dogs and agility even in the face of her physical challenges. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.
