Reginald Wallace
Reginald “Reggie” DeWitt Wallace, 71, born in Hobbs, New Mexico, passed away on December 7, 2023, in Decatur, Texas. Reggie was a wonderful, kind, and caring man who was beloved by many. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Reggie lived life to the fullest, pursuing his passions and enjoying every moment. He had a deep love for golfing, finding solace on the green as he honed his skills and connected with family, and friends. He also had a keen interest in classic cars, and car shows, admiring the beauty and craftsmanship of vintage automobiles. Reggie was an occasional hunter, finding peace and excitement in the great outdoors. His adventurous spirit led him to travel, creating memories and meeting new people along the way. Family was of utmost importance to Reggie, and he cherished his relationships with his son, Christopher Shawn Brewer, his daughter-in-law, Rebecca Brewer, his daughter Shelly, his brother, Gary Wallace, his sister-in-law, Joan Wallace, his grandchildren Hunter Smith, Sarah Scott, Austin Sands, Bethany Gottfried, Madison Favart, Patrick Burghy, Cindy Burghy, Jamie Mooney, Camery, Stevie his great grandchildren, and several other extended family members. He was preceded in life by his father DeWitt Wallace, and his mother Patty Ruth Alexander Wallace. Together they shared countless moments of love, laughter, and made lasting memories. Reggie’s zest for life and his incredible storytelling ability made him a captivating presence. From his days as a truck driver to his adventures in bowling, parasailing, and beyond, Reggie always had a fascinating tale to share. He was always on the go, never letting the grass grow under his feet. A celebration of life service will be held to honor Reggie’s memory. Details regarding the ceremony will be shared with family and friends. Reggie’s warm heart, selflessness, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his legacy live on in the hearts of those he touched.

  1. I was a co worker of Regies and new him for over 43 years and will miss him .He was a great guy! And will be mist by everyone he know.
