Raymond E Hodge, 78, passed away Wednesday, November 25th, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. Raymond was born to Edward and Ellie Mae (Drennan) Hodge on October 14, 1942. Raymond graduated from South Oak Cliff High School, class of 1961. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1967 – 1970. He worked most of his life programming computers, even before there was computers. He retired from One Oak Oil & Gas of Topeka, Kansas after 27 years. He was a 32 degree mason with the Arab Shrine Temple in Topeka Kansas. Raymond was married 3 times with the old saying “3rd time’s a charm”, he met and married his soul-mate; Pamela on Nov., 9th, 1978. They were married for 37 years. Raymond was preceded by his wife, Pamela in Jan 2016, his father Edward Hodge in 1954, mother Ellie Mae (Drennan) Hodge in 1984 and sister, Rosemary (Rosie) Harris. Raymond is survived by 6 children; Debbie and Richard Fritchman, Robert and Kim Hodge, Valerie Hodge, Chris Hodge, Rebecca and David Bryant and Nathan Hodge. 18 grandchildren; Joseph, Alex, Sarah, Robby, Christopher, Jessica, Justin, Haley, Jesse James, Cindy, Alec, Ariel, Jett, Haley, Heather, Cole, Dallas and Alyssa. 12 Great-Grandchildren; Ava, Karson, Willow, Silo, Ryland, Jocelyn, Deacon, Delaney, Spencer, Dylan, Dallas and 2 more on the way (Ember & 1 yet unknown sex). Brother, John and Gloria Hodge of Waxahachie, Texas and sister, Linda Campbell of Grand Prairie, Texas with many nieces, nephews and cousins that will miss him greatly. Thank you to the wonderful staff of Midtowne Assisted Living where he resided the last 2 years; he loved each and everyone one of you and I know you all loved him just as much.

I WAS SAD TO HEAR ABOUT UNCLE RAYMOND, BUT HAPPY HE NOW IS RESTING IN PEACE WITH THE LORD AND LOVED ONES.I GREW UP WITH HIM AND AUNT LINDA, AS I LIVED ALOT MY LIFE MY GRANNIE HODGE.YOU ARE LOVED WILL BE MISSED.GOD BE WITH ALL UR FAMILY, FRIENDS!!!!
I am sorry to just now learn of Raymond’s passing. I was a schoolmate and a friend at SOC high school. May Raymond rest in peace.
I met Raymond in the 50’s when he lived on Aztec st . His grandfather was living with him and his mother. His grandfather taught us how to play ” moon” in dominoes. I spent a lot of time with Raymond. I have searched for him with no luck in finding him. Sorry to hear he has passed.
