BURLESON — Raul Gamboa, 49, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010. Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday at Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Raul was born Aug. 28, 1961, in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Rafael and Aurora Gamboa. He married Dora Espinoza on Feb. 26, 1981. Raul was known in the community as a talented carpenter. He took great pride in his work and he worked very hard. Raul will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors: Wife, Dora; daughters, Gladys Gamboa Bishop and husband, Robert, and Alyssa Gamboa; son, Raul Gamboa Jr.; grandsons, Alejandro and Diego Gamboa and Chance Bishop; father, Rafael Gamboa Sr.; sisters, Bertha Gamboa, Maria Najera, Tona Gamboa, Rosa Palacios Gamboa; brothers, German and Rafael Gamboa Jr.

MAY GOD BLESS YOU, THE FAMILY OF RAUL GAMBOA, FROM ALL THE GAMBOA FAMILY IN THE PECOS, MIDLAND, FORT STOCKTON AREA. WE ALL HEARD THE SAD NEWS OF RAUL AND ALL THE GAMBOA’S IN OUR FAMILY WERE CALLING EACH OTHER WITH CONCERNS, AND ONE COUSIN IN DALLAS SAID EVEN THOUGH WE DONT KNOW RAUL, WE FEEL HE IS OUR FAMILY.
