Perry August Anderson
Perry August Anderson, 43, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at his sister’s home in Justin, TX after a short battle with cancer. Perry was born on February 16, 1975 in Erie, PA to James and Paula (Conway) Anderson, Jr. He attended Central High School in Erie, PA and was a long time resident of Hickory, NC. Perry enjoyed drawing and sketching and loved to try new techniques. He was also enjoyed learning new languages including Russian and Spanish. He was an active member of his community and was always ready to volunteer for any cause. Perry was preceded in death by his parents James P Anderson Jr and Paula J. Jordan (Conway) and grandparents James P Anderson Sr and Helen M. Anderson (Dukich). Survivors include his sisters Lisa (Tom) Consla of Justin, TX and Stacy Anderson of Erie, PA. Nieces; Cassandra (Travis), Dezaree and Taleeya, nephews; Donavan, Tyler and Terrell. Two great nephews, Wyatt and Damian. Several aunts and uncles, including Kevin who always served as a father figure to him, and several cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of Mercy Hospice of Flower Mound, TX for the amazing care they gave to Perry during his final days and employees of Vanguard Furniture in Hickory, NC for all of the caring and support they gave Perry during his illness. Perry was loved by many and will truly be missed.
