GRANBURY –Paul Arden Knox passed away Febuary 25,2016. Funeral: 1:15 p.m., Wednesday at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. He was born on October 15, 1954 in Midland. As a baby, his father, John Knox, started as a chemical engineer at Haliburton Industries in Duncan, OK and Paul grew up there. He loved music and played in a band in high school and continued as an adult for many years. He joined the Army at 20 and went to Germany and Vietnam as a medical corpsman. He was very proud of his medical position. After the military he went to college for many years while raising 2 sons with his first wife Patricia. His interest in learning led him to try many jobs – even running a movie theater and drive inn in Artesian,NM. He loved it. He was a skilled musician and artist and played in a band for many years. In his late 30’s he was diagnosed with genetic liver disease and lived with chronic illness so very long. Survivors: He is survived by his wife Linda, his son Wes Knox and wife Serena with 2 children. Also by his stepson Colin Jenney and wife Kathleen with 2 grandchildren, and brother Hayden and wife Joni.
