  3. Paola,
I will always cherish the time you and I enjoyed together. The visit to the art museum viewing the impressionism art was the highlight. Thank you for raising such a very fine man, Derek.

  4. Family of Paola Zinnecker,
My deepest sympathy on your loss. I knew Paola when she was an instructional coordinator in the Bilingual/ESL department of the Austin Independent School District where I was the coordinator for foreign languages. She was a very intelligent woman and we were thrilled for her appointment at the University of Texas at Tyler. Mi más sentido pésame.

  5. Dear Karen an Brian, and the entire family,

Although I did not know Paola personally, I feel the bond that unites even extended family members, so share your loss. I am so sorry that I was not able to join you at the services. Having lost my own mother five years ago, I can understand your loss, and particularly as you celebrate the lovely days of Christmas without her company. May the sight of the tiny baby in the Manger, the Son of God come in the most vulnerable and tender of forms remind you of the tender Father that gave life also to her, and Who must have lovingly received her back into those same loving arms that gave us our Savior. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in these days and those ahead. I hope to see you all soon. Blessings, and hold peace and hope in your hearts. May she rest in peace with God forever.
