Olga Mae Sypinski
Arlington, TX Olga Mae (Olson) Sypinski, 85, entered the gates of heaven on February 1, 2019. She was born on May 6, 1933 in Indian Creek, TX to Ernest and Bera Olson. Olga was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley W. Sypinski in 2015 and her son, Stanley E. Sypinski in 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Mary and her grandchildren, Duston, Scott, Ally, Lynda (Bernadette), Trinity, Aubrea and Canon and her great-granddaughter, Hannah and her sister, Norma Jackson of Virginia. In April of 1955, she met Stan while they were both serving in the Air Force. Only 6 months later, they were married on October 29, 1955. While serving in the Air Force, she earned the National Defense Service Medal. She worked as a Secretary at the Naval Air Station in Grand Prairie and then went to work for Southwestern Bell/AT & T as a long distance telephone operator until she retired. Her favorite past times were watching her grandchildren playing soccer, baseball, flag football, basketball, golf, karate, choir, orchestra, dance, school musicals, award ceremonies, cub scouts and cheer. She also enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 9th at 4:00 pm at Harmony Baptist Church located at 1814 W. Arkansas Lane in Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony Baptist Church Children’s Ministry or to your favorite charity. Thank you to Arlington Memorial Hospital 3rd Floor Nurses & Staff and her wonderful caregiver, Tammy. And a special thanks to all my friends (you know who you are) and my church family for all of their support, love and prayers.
