Norman Ray “Sonny” Miller, 79, passed away peacefully July 28, 2011 in Burleson, Texas, following a courageous battle with cancer. Sonny was born July 13, 1932 to Jack Harvey Miller and Dora Katherine Kelton Miller in Houston, Texas. He was the youngest child out of 13 children. He was a carpenter building both private residences and commercial properties. Sonny is survived by his daughters Deborah Joy Miller, Denise Byers and her husband Monte, grandsons Jesse Byers and Matthew Byers and his wife Julia, great-grandson Jackson Byers and numerous nieces, and nephews.

We always had so much fun going on vacation with all of your family. OUr dads were a pair. So much fun.

Hugs to you at this time…Your dad will be missed. I wish I had gotten to know him sooner yet I hope I made his last months memorable.
I have such great memories of Uncle Sonny. He taught me how to jump a broom! I loved him! Praying for peace for you all.

Debbie and Denise – So sorry to read about teh death of your dad. What a craftsman. I recall the hard work he did adding the 2nd story on the house. We still have the gun case he built for my dad. My best to you.
