Melissa Jane Hampton
Melissa Jane Hampton, 50, Crowley TX, joined the angels on March 2, 2015. A viewing will be held at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home on Friday, March 6 from 6-8 p.m. The service will be held on Saturday, March 7 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Melissa was born on March 23, 1964 in Vinita, Oklahoma to C.P. and Jane Cole. She grew up in Fort Worth, graduating from Paschal High School in 1982. She worked in independent sales selling It Works and Mary Kay. Melissa had a passion for life, she never met a stranger. Her hobbies included playing games with her family (especially ones she could beat you at), playing keno and doing puzzles with her friends, and caring for animals. Mostly, she loved her friends and family, always putting others before herself. Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years, Gerald Hampton, her daughter and son in-law, Amanda and Stephen Johnson, her father and stepmother C.P and Nancy Cole, her siblings, Charlie Cole and Kim Chvosta, numerous cousins and other family members as well as many loving friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the City of Crowley Animal Shelter
