Mearl Densmoore Taylor, Jr.
Burleson — Mearl Densmoore Taylor, Jr., 60, passed away Wednesday March 1, 2023 in Fort Worth, TX. Mearl was a simple man, he loved BIG and had an infectious personality. He grew up in Grand Prairie, TX, where he met his wife Wendy who he was married to just shy of 38 years. He loved horses, riding, rodeo and just about anything outside. He could make anything out of wood, even a whole gazebo with absolutely no plans just a picture from the Better Homes & Gardens Magazine. Anyone who knew Mearl knew how much pride he took in being a Pawpaw. Technically he only had one biological grand-daughter, but there were MANY kids around that called him Pawpaw too! He cheered them on at softball, was the stand in on grand parents day lunch at school, Ag project inspector and loved supporting them all.

  3. Wendy, Stephanie and Abby, it’s an incredibly difficult time when the person you love so much has passed on, so soon, from you. Remember to have the Faith of Lord Jesus Christ and know that you will all meet him again in God’s Heavenly home. I pray that life for you will become a little less difficult in time but I know you will always love this man Mearl Densmoore Taylor Jr. as he would always love you. I only ask that you pray for him everyday. It’s another way of communicating with him and our Father God. God Bless you all and show you the Grace, Love that you need to carry on.

  4. Although we never met, I have got to know your daughter, Stephanie O Briant, who is married to my Nephew, Patrick OBriant. Through her eyes, I saw a very loving and cherished man who loved with all of his heart. And though prayers of recovery were not answered, God had another plan. We don’t understand right now and miss you, and we hold on to hope through Jesus, we will meet on the other side. I will continue to pray for Stephanie and family as we continue on and learn how to live without you. I know that you were a great man every time I hear Stephanie talk about you and see the love in her face. ❤.

  8. Wendy, Stephanie, Patrick, Abbi & family,
I am so very sorry for the loss of Mearl, a significant part of each of your lives. My heart breaks for all of you. My words always fall short in times like this. I didn’t know Mearl for very long, but boy was I rooting for him. I was following his journey & praying for him & all of you every step of the way. When Dylan called me on his way home from the hospital, I could hear the sadness & sorrow in his voice & my heart immediately broke for all of you. I pray for you all to find strength, comfort and peace in knowing that Mearl is resting comfortably in the loving arms of Jesus.
Rest in Heavenly Peace Mearl 🙏❤️
