Marty Daun Satterfield, 57, passed away suddenly on July 24, 2019, in Arlington. Marty was born in Waxahachie, Kansas on September 7, 1961. He graduated from Boswell High School in 1979 and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Texas. Marty lived a life of service to others. He never met a stranger, and a big laugh was sure to follow any conversation. He enjoyed playing golf, fixing things for others while refusing any type of payment-except brownies, playing with his grandchildren, working on the yard, and relaxing in the pool on warm evenings. A celebration of life will be held at The Iron Horse golf course clubhouse at 6200 Skylark Circle, North Richland Hills, TX 76180, August 16 from 6-9. Food, cash bar, photos and stories will be shared as Marty wished. Marty Daun Satterfield is preceded in death by his father, Leroy Satterfield, in 1971 and his mother, Mary Lou Bauer, in 2001 In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Wells Fargo under the name Satterfield Funeral Fund.
