(something Mark would always say “What’s up big-in” those that knew and loved him can smile with that phrase and always know that was Mark 🙂

Until we meet on Heaven’s Shore; know you are loved!

  10. To the father of my children:
Your pain is over and your time on earth is done. I will continue to love and comfort our children and grandchildren until my journey on earth is done. I will also continue to lean on the Lord and allow him to carry me thru the rest of my days here on earth. He shall continue to provide and comfort us. I forgive you!

  11. God knows your pain. Your loved one is gone,You can not see him, but his memory’s are there. God gave it to you so don’t dispair. Your loved one’s time on earth was through. He completed the task he was born to do. He did it well that God took him home to walk the streets where angles roam. I know he was special and you miss him so, but when your time comes you’ll get to go. You’ll see your loved one and Jesus too. So live this life God gave you. Your heart will heal and one day you’ll see that door to eternity.
    We love you,

  12. To Mark’s family….learning of Mark’s passing was very sad news. I am Riley Johnson’s maternal grandmother and I know Riley will be in touch with you, his father’s family, whenever he is able. Know that your loved one is at peace in a better place and no longer suffering as he was in this life. God rest his soul. I am so very sorry for your loss.

  17. Dear Mimi & Granddaddy,
I am so sorry you have this hurt. Words are very lacking. But one thing you can be assured of and have peace knowing is Mark knew you both loved him so very much, unconditionally, no matter what. You both are generous and loving-and so generous with your love! All of our family reaps benefit and is blessed by the love you show.
For my sweet mother-in-law, Mother Teresa, God loves your tender heart; I’m so sorry you hurt. I love you.
For Mark’s wife, Debbie, and his children, Erika, Jessica, Andrew and Riley, I pray you grab hold of the hope that we can have in Christ Jesus-He is for you, not against you.
(He knows the plans He has for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. When you call on Him, He will listen to you. When you seek Him, you will find Him. Jeremiah 29:11-paraphrased.)

  19. Bill I only knew you and Mark. I knew Mark from high school and later I met you down at fast and friendly when you would come in there for coffee. Remember me,you, and Scott Carter down there chewing the fat. I drove for B&W back then. I would like to give you and your whole Family my condolences on the passing of Mark. Last time I saw Mark was at a BBQ over at Rob Starks home a few years ago. I met his wife and I believe his youngest son that day. Just remember that the memoirs of a person is what keeps them alive in our hearts for if they live in our hearts they never die. God bless you and your Family in this most difficult of times.
