Alvarado, Texas – Marilyn Jill Davis Baker Russell, age 55, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017 in Ft. Worth, Texas. Celebration of Life Service: Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Alvarado Seventh Day Adventist Church, 908 Church Street, Alvarado, Texas 76009 at 4:00 pm. Marilyn Jill was born on March 1, 1962 in Arlington, Texas to parents, Billy Howard Davis and Neva Joyce Ballard Hatfield. Marilyn graduated from Arlington High School in 1980, and was a Junior ROTC Cadet. She was skilled in radio electronics and computer technology. She worked in the techno field for companies such as Northrup Grumman and others. She also worked as proof writer for UTA students, as well as engaged as a graphic and pictorial designer for magazine and book layout for publication. She loved her LORD “Jesus Christ” and her church. Marilyn was known to help others in need, often taking them into her home. Marilyn enjoyed her family, especially her granddaughter, Nadya. Marilyn is preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Baker, her parents, brother, Clark Davis, step-father Jim Hatfield and David Leduc. Survivors are daughters, Amanda Leduc-Cogdell and husband Paul, Amelia Davis, granddaughter, Nadya Leduc, brother Bill H. Davis, Jr. and wife, Debbie; sister Carolyn June Gaudet and husband, Jeff; sister-in-law Vicki Davis as well as three nieces and two nephews.
