Margie Louise Ford, born July 25, 1929, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2023, in Arlington, TX. Born and raised in Godley, TX, Marge attended college at the young age of 16 at the University of Texas. She graduated from Wesleyan College, Fort Worth, Texas, with a B.S. Degree. She then went on to get M.Ed. and Ed.D. degrees at the University of Oklahoma. Marge was passionate about education and worked both with students in the classroom and in curriculum and educational development. She taught in public schools in grades K-12 for over twenty years. In the latter part of her career, she worked as a lecturer and an administrator in instructional development in community colleges and the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
