Margaret Eckermann
Alvarado – Mrs. Margaret Eckermann, age 78, passed peacefully on Friday, November 28th, 2014 amidst her family. Service: Services honoring her life will be held at a later date in Orofino, Idaho. Marge Eckermann was born March 11th, 1936, in Canton, Ohio to Clarence and Dorothy Klingensmith. She graduated from Lewis-Clark College with an Associate of Applied Science in Business Technology. Her greatest life’s work was being a foster mother to many young people. Marge was always willing to help others in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dallas Klingensmith, her sister, Yvonne Hardesty, and her husband, Charles Eckermann of Orofino, Idaho. Survivors: Three children, Kim Krause and wife Jin, Denise Yochum and her husband Eric, and Andrew Eckermann and his wife Sarah and her 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Marge’s extended family also included many “adopted” children and their families. The family would like to thank the staff of Community Hospice of Texas for their kind and caring support and making Marge’s transition as comfortable as possible.
