Lucille Marie Applen of Venus,Texas passed away peacefully on March 1, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.
Lucille was born December 1, 1946 in Gore, Oklahoma to Cathalina Ann Clark Smith and Willie Albert Smith.
She lived a life full of love, laughter and taking care of her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Lucille is survived by her daughters, Shirley Ray, Wanda Garrett, Alona Brady, Elizabeth Gibbons, and Jodie Richardson.
Services will be announced at a later time.

Hey Aunt Lucy I was always horrible at goodbyes so we will just call this a see ya later. My number ain’t been called yet to go home so if ya have some free time scope the place out for us still waiting to go we’ll see you again one day but til then give the loved ones a big ol hug from us. We love you to the moon and back I hope it’s as beautiful if not even more than you ever imagined up there.
