Leo J. Bonham
Cleburne–Funeral services for Leo Jacob Bonham, 82, will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Friday, February 20, 2004, at Lane Prairie Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lane Prairie Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2004 from 7-9 PM at Crosier-Pearson, Mayfield Funeral Home, Cleburne. Mr. Bonham died peacefully on Tuesday, February 17, 2004, at Huguley Hospice House. He was born in Johnson County, the son of Jim and Della Bonham on March 30, 1921. Leo Bonham proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy during World War II, and was a member of the Free Masons. He was a devoted husband, loving father and an enduring grandfather. His sharp wit and dry humor will be missed by all who knew and enjoyed him. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Zane Bonham and James Bonham and one son, Larry Bonham. He is survived by his children, Jan Campbell and husband, Keith; Leonard Bonham and wife, Pam; Alice Calabrese and husband, Vince; step-children, Linda Ledbetter and husband, Rick; Susie Allen and husband, James; John Bonham and wife Karen; seven siblings, Jack Bonham, Gene Bonham, John Bonham, Oscar Bonham, Roger Bonham, Eva Whitehead and Nelda Steadman; fourteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
