Laura Ann Durr Derrington
Laura Ann Durr Derrington passed away on Sunday October 14th, 2018 in Arlington, Texas. Laura was born March 21st, 1951 in Dallas, Texas. She had worked for Target for over 30 years and had been retired for the last 2 years. She enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters taking them swimming, to the park, lunch trips to McDonalds, and to the library for Lego club after school. Laura was a hard worker and was very independent. She had a huge heart and was very selfless. Laura was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Laura is proceeded in death by her Father Elmer Durr and Mother Clem Flynn. She is survived by her siblings Johnny, Jimmy, and Linda; loving son Chad Derrington and wife Ashley, granddaughters Makenzie and Gracelyn; son Byron Pierce and wife Jennifer Pierce, grandsons Jacob, Gus, and Hew. A celebration of life for Laura will be announced at a later date. “God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be He wrapped his arms around you, And whispered, “Come to me” You didn’t deserve what you went through so he gave you needed rest, God’s garden must be beautiful he only takes the BEST!”

  1. My heart breaks for you both. The few times I met her, she was sweet and kind. I could see the love she had for you all. Continued prayers for you. If there’s any comfort it’s knowing that she is in good company up there. Love you guys.
