Larry Walter Krause of Granbury, Texas passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was born December 22, 1941, in Flint, Michigan.
Larry married Barbara Krause (Baker) on June 29, 1963. He worked for General Motors for 35 years as a Paint Engineer out of GM Global Headquarters. He enjoyed travelling the U.S. with his wife and four children. Most of all he cherished spending time with his family, fur babies (Ollie and Eli), and fur grand baby (Piper).
He was preceded in death by his parents Walt and Esther Krause and his infant daughter Sandra Ann Krause. Larry will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Barb Krause, as “a quiet man but quite a man.” He will also be lovingly remembered by his four children Bob Krause and wife Penny, Jeff Krause and wife Jan, Paul Krause and wife Aimee, and Megan Rodriguez (Krause) and husband Jeff; grandchildren Austin Krause and wife Brittney, Jake Krause, Kayla Krause, Kody Krause, Kaira Krause, Amber Krause, and Payton Krause; great grandson Greyson Krause; brother Gary Krause and wife Liz; nephew Michael Krause and wife Toni; great nephews Io Krause and Luca Krause; and several cousins. Larry will be deeply missed by all. Dad, we will love you forever.
