Lana K. Lowe
It is with great sadness that the family of Lana K. Lowe announces her sudden passing on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at the age of 73 years. A native of Wichita Falls, Lana was employed by The Texas Attorney Generals office for 10 years as a secretary in the child support division. She completed her career at SBC/AT&T as an operator working in Wichita Falls, Houston and Dallas offices before retiring in 2007. Lana will forever be remembered by her daughters, Jennifer K. Chavis of Houston, Tx. and Amber K. Lowe of Grand Prairie, Tx. She leaves behind four grandsons who were her pride and joy, Darius B. Lowe II, Brayden O. Chavis, Jackson O. Chavis & Jaiden A. Lowe. She was grateful for her two son-in- laws, Clifton O. Chavis & Darius B. Lowe. In addition, she leaves sister’s, Barbara Nason of Decatur, Tx and AnnaFaye West of Bedford, Tx. The deceased leaves behind five nieces and three nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents R.J. Scruggs of Wichita Falls, Tx and Valorie Scruggs of Burkburnett, Tx., followed by Shannon Scruggs of Saginaw, Tx, Dwain Scruggs of Burkburnett, Tx and Billy J. Scruggs of Wichita Falls, Tx. A Celebration of Lana’s life is being planned for the summer. Memorial donations in memory of Lana can be made to: Lewy Body Dementia Association 912 Killian Hill Road, S.W. Lilburn, GA 30047
