Judy James Nesky
Judy was born in Durant, OK on January 16, 1938 to Ollie and Pauline James. She had one brother, Tom James, who preceded her in death. Accomplishing a lifetime goal, Judy graduated Summa Cum Laude from UTD in May 2000, after a 26-year career at Centennial Homes. She cherished family gatherings; and loved international travel, piano, books, flowers and nature. She put love into her cooking and we all knew it. Judy was a wonderful, loving mother to her daughters Penny and Carrie. She met the love of her life, Stan, and they spent 46 loving years together. She was so loved and adored by family, as well as many friends. She lived her life with dignity; integrity; and a positive attitude and outlook. She was a classy dresser, accepting of all, and always a friend. Boone says she was classy. Judy is survived by her husband Stanley Nesky, daughter Penny McMullen, daughter Carrie McFarland and husband Kevin, sister-in-law Kathleen Duval and husband Ted, nephew Kevin James, cousin Pete Cartwright, cousin Tim Cartwright, cousin John Sturges, stepson Greg Nesky, stepson Michael Blair, and grandchildren Lindsey, Cody, Kyle, Courtney, Scott, Sydney, Breck, Reef, plus great-grandchildren, Raylon, Maren, Jace, Jakson, & Bryer, who keep her in loving memory. A celebration of a life well-lived for Judith J. Nesky will be held on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 11am at Arapaho United Methodist Church in Richardson. Burial to follow at Restland Dallas. In lieu of flowers, in memory of Judy, donations may be given to the Cvetko Patient Resource Center, 3410 Worth Street, Suite 200, Dallas, TX 75246. Donations will be used to benefit Sammons Cancer Center patients and their families.

  3. Judy was the first person that Dawn met at Centennial Homes and they very quickly became dear friends. We are blessed to have loved and known this beautiful precious lady. We are thankful for all the wonderful memories we hold dear to us for nearly fifty years. We hold Stan and all of her family near to our hearts because we know how much she will be missed in your life. God Bless you.

  4. Judy was a beautiful woman inside and out, a wonderful neighbor and a dear friend. Her smile and laugh will be with me always. Sending love and prayers to Stan, Penny, Carrie, and thewhole family.

  5. I have known Judy since the 7th grade. In junior high we had a group of 8 that went Square Dancing once a week at Northside Recreation. My mom used to take us. Judy, Jerri, and I ran around together often. In high school someone in our group of friends would have a Saturday night party at their house. We would all bring our 45 records, dance, and eat. It was so much fun. The girls also had a lot of Slumber Parties. It is too bad that after high school everyone seemed to go their separate ways – to college, getting married, and/or moving away. Dear friends like Judy are never forgotten, but remembered and loved in our hearts. She was always one of the sweetest, dearest persons I have ever known. Precious memories❣️

  6. Judy was a lovely and gracious friend and neighbor. Her smile and bubbly personality brightened the lives of those around her. She will be missed but will always have a special place in my heart.

  7. A person is never truly gone until all those that remember them are gone. She will live on in my memories making cookies and letting me decorate them with way too much icing like a 6 year old boy likes to do.
