Joshua Taylor Maddux
Mansfield –Joshua Taylor Maddux, 23, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away January 18, 2012. Memorial Mass: Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, Texas. Reception to follow at the family’s home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Easter Seals of North Texas or Salvation Army. He was born Sept. 16, 1988 in Garland, Texas and is the son of Chris & Amy Maddux. Taylor attended Mansfield schools and graduated from Everest College with a diploma as a Medical Assistant. He loved working with special needs children at Therapeutic Life Skills. He enjoyed skateboarding, fishing, hunting, playing hockey and making others laugh. With his amazing sense of humor and larger than life personality he has touched our hearts and has left us with many wonderful memories. He is preceded by his grandfather, Jim White. Survivors: Taylor will be missed by his parents Chris and Amy Maddux; sisters, Courtney & Haley; grandparents, Bob & Kay Maddux; grandmother, Judy White; great grandmother, Betty Jaeger; and numerous other family and friends.

  2. Your passing has hit Brian, Ashlee, and myself really hard. Gone to quick Taylor. We will miss your funny ways and your sweet smile. My children excepted u as their brother and you as my 3rd son. God must have wanted you home and one day we will be flying high in the Heavens with our Angels as you are. We love and miss you deeply!   6. We are not supposed to live longer than our children….you were like a son to me, your dad like my brother. I love ya man and will miss you lots and will cherish the years of memories. I will never understand why…only God knows and he must have needed someone very special….you were very special to me and to everyone that knew you.
