  1. We are so sorry to hear of John’s passing. He was such a gentleman and had a great sense of humor-we loved him! He loved Nadine with all his heart and lived for his two daughters, Judy and Linda. He taught us all how to live life to its fullest and to enjoy each day. He will be sorely missed! All our love, Pam and Rom Welborn

  3. Our deepest sympathy to Nadine, Linda, Judy and Chuck. Our hearts are heavy. John was such an inspiration of living life and fulfilling dreams. We pray for peace and comfort in the days to come as you celebrate his life. We are smiling knowing that today, he is sitting next to Jesus telling Him about his next invention and how it will benefit the world! Love to you all, James & Marilee

  5. Nadine, I am sure you know what a mentor and friend John was to me and my family. He was a “pay-it-forward” man and encouragement to all he touched. John is always in front of me – especially when I see my son JON who is named for John. As I know, John always looked for the best in folks and expected their most reasonable best. Not perfection from anyone but the bar was held high for each individual to measure himself against what could be! Rose and I look forward to seeing you and the girls (ladies) on Tuesday and do more reminising. Keep on Keeping on and we will see you there – Lord willing.

  11. I was so sorry to see the notice of my friend and former Brother-in- law. It is so sad for us but we are so selfish to want him to stay. The ones that knew John , know that he is celebrating with his two Brothers, Tom and Dale, in a place where there will be no more tears…only joy and that we will see him soon. My constant prayer is to give Nadine, Linda, Judy comfort and let them know I love them and remember all the good times we had for so many years..

  17. There isn’t enough room here to write all of the wonderful memories that I have of my classmate, John. We shared so many good times, both in school and later in life.
When he would call on clients near Texhoma, he would always come here to see his former classmates. What a joy that was. He always looked so mice. He was always dressed fit to kill. He dearly love Nadine and his girls. What a precious man he was. I will always remember him with much love! Yvonne
