JoAnn Wyatt
Burleson — JoAnn Wyatt, 81, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2013. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cresson Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Ann was born Aug. 15, 1931, in Fort Worth, the third of six children to Bertie Lou Barber Wirsing and Guy Sidney Wirsing Sr. Ann’s hardwork ethic earned her a successful business career. Her 35-year marriage to H.L. Wyatt, a Fort Worth police officer, was a bond of great pride, friendship and many homemaking rewards. Ann loved traveling and a new adventure, and like the simplicity of her favorite flower, the white rose, she appreciated the tranquility of a beautiful yard and quiet times with a good book, but not more treasured than family and lifelong friendships. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sisters, Joice Wirsing Meador, Betty Leath and Jane Wirsing Bailey. Survivors: Daughter, Sherry Wright; sons, Ronnie Horn and wife, Loretta, and Donnie Horn and wife, Debra; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Guy Sidney Wirsing Jr. and wife, Pat, Jerry Wirsing and wife, Shirley; brothers-in-law, C.H. Meador, David Wyatt and wife, Alana; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
