Jimmy Lynn “Jim” Henderson
Jimmy Lynn ”Jim” Henderson was born Monday, November 13, 1951, in Cleburne, Texas, to Robert and Dortha Henderson. He went to meet his Lord on Monday, February 19, 2024 in Keene,Texas. In 1976, while an aircraft director with fire and rescue with the Navy, he met Bonnie Lambert in Bremerton,Washington. Two years later, they were married in Cleburne on March 16, 1978. He retired January 2015, but his longest profession was warehouse worker at Johns Manville for 34 years. He was an avid and expert fisherman his entire life. There wasn’t an ocean, lake, or tank that he didn’t stop to try and catch a fish in. For the last few years of his life, his health took away his ability to fish, but now that he is once again whole, after spending time with his Lord and family, he probably ran straight to the first fishing hole he could find. He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents, all of his aunts and uncles, his Momma and Daddy, his bubba and sister in law Robert and Pepper Henderson, his sister and brother in law Becky and Jim Weaver, mother and father in law Diane and Melvin Lambert, and his brother in law Greg Lambert. He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Bonnie Henderson, daughter Brittany Austin and husband Michael, grandsons Jaxson and Aadyn Austin, brother Steve and wife Tracy, sister Cyndi, sister in law Irene and husband Ross, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will not be funeral services, but a memorial will be given at Lake Whitney at a later date.
