Jesse Leroy Walker
Jesse Leroy Walker, a proud veteran of the United States Navy, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, on June 13th,2022. He was born February 28,1942 to his belated parents Lee Walker and Geraldine Walker in Dallas, Texas. At the age of 18 Jesse enlisted in the United States Navy. He valued his service highly and received 3 bronze stars, a Vietnam campaign medal and a armed forces expeditionary medal (Korea). Jesse retired from Rochester Gauges after many of years of service to them.   Jesse is preceded in death by his parents, Lee Walker and Geraldine Walker, sisters; Jean Thomas and husband Carl Thomas, Patricia Stover and husband Smokey Stover, son, James Walker, grandson Cody Walker, mother in law and father in law Mildred and Bobby Langley, nephew Brian Foster. Jesse is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Walker, sons; David Walker wife Angela Walker, Bobby Walker and Charles Walker, sisters; Linda Langley and Loyce Myrick and husband Paul Myrick, grandchildren; Vanessa Collins and husband Michael Collins, Adam Walker, Tiffani Romero and husband Jaime Romero, great grandchildren Cody Collins, Madisen Collins, Corrinna Romero, Kyrie Romero and Karston Romero and many nieces and nephews.

    Thank you so much for being such a wonderful role model in my early years and throughout my life! I always admired your dedication and determination. When I would come to visit James, I always looked forward to seeing you, Betty, and the family. I’m relieved you aren’t suffering anymore from cancer. I know you’re back with James.
