  1. On March 20th, 2015 my beloved Uncle Jerry crossed over into heaven to join all those who went before him. He was the last one to go and I could hear the trumpets playing. He is two stepping to some Willy Nelson, cruining to Unchained Melody and listening to the Sounds of Silence. My uncle was a sweet, kind and fair man. His heart was as big as the state he lived, Texas. It was made of the finest gold and as strong as the bulls he rode in the rodeo. A devoted grandson, nephew, son, brother, uncle, loving partner and friend. I just know how safe I felt in his presence and will miss him deeply. I wouldn’t trade anything in this world for making it to his bedside to tell this phenomenal man how much I loved him and to thank him for everything he has ever done for me in his lifetime. They broke the mold after Jerry Woodard was born. I love you with all my heart my dear Uncle Jerry. Rest in Peace.~*
