Jerry Richard Russell
Jerry Richard Russell passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 82. Jerry was born on July 25, 1941 in Denton, Texas. He is survived by his wife Sharon, his two sons Ricky and Randy Russell, and their spouses Cindy and Amy. Jerry is also survived by his five grandchildren, Kaithlyn Roberts (spouse Brian), Conner Russell (fiancée Sydni), Raley Gray (spouse Nathen), Ryan, Reed, and his two great grandchildren Michael and Sloan. Jerry was a devoted husband to Sharon for 62 years, a loving father and adoring grandfather and great grandfather. Jerry was extremely proud of his Chickasaw heritage and will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, March 2nd, at Everman Cemetery, 834 E. Enon Ave., Everman, Tx 76140. Family and friends are welcome to a gathering immediately following the service at Hickory Stick Bar B-Q.

  1. This is Jerry Johnson Mark and Lonnie Kincaids cousin. I would like to say rest in peace Jerry and no more pain. I remember all the get togethers in edgecliff village at my aunt Linda’s house. We all had great times with friends and family. When someone said Jerry we all looked. Jerry Kincaid, Jerry Russell, Jerry johnson and me the son Jerry Don Johnson. Godbless the family.

  3. Yes… our card playing,, get together-dancing days in our younger life would not have been the same without this guy..in our fun days we had three Jerry’s ( Russ) Russell.. Jerry (Corky) Thompson ..and my husband Jerry Kinkade.. our kids were best buds & went to school together .. it was a long time .. Funtime history.. so sorry to hear about this loss .. he was a great guy..💐

  4. He will be missed so much, it will be hard for Sharon to go on without him but life has a way of taking you before we want to them to go, he outlived the predictions.He was Norman’s best friend now they can play dominoes anytime they want. I really wished he could have stayed a little longer.

  5. May God bless you and fill you with His Holy Spirit. We know where he is. Thank God for the resurrection power for Christ followers like Jerry. He was such an amazing man.
