Jay Lynn Coker
Venus, TX- Jay Lynn Coker 58, passed away Thursday May 10, 2018 in Dallas. Jay was surrounded by his wife Mary, son Michael and his loving family. Jay was born July 20, 1959 in El Paso, TX to Jackie Lynn Coker and Joann Ladell. Almand Coker. Jay worked in the oilfield industry at G & L Tool Co. in Sonora, TX. It was there he met his wife Mary through friends. Jay and Mary were married on November 3,1980 and remained in Sonora, TX until 1992 when Jay made a career change. Jay went to work in the trucking industry for FFE in Lancaster, TX. Jay was preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife Mary, son Michael, daughter-in-law April, two sisters Lisa Delmont and her husband Dan, Monica Flinchum, one brother Jon Coker, niece and nephew, two great nephews, one great niece, Joey our dog, and many friends. Memorial Service will be held at The Cowboy Church Of Ellis County 2374 US 287 Access Rd. Waxahachie, TX 75167 June 2, 2018 at 10:30 am.

    1. Thank you so much for your prayers. Jay was my husband as well as my best friend. We almost had 38 years together. Jay was a truck driver, he was gone all week and home on weekends. We would talk 4-6 times during the week and we would be together on the weekend. I miss Jay so bad. Jay was in the hospital for almost a month before he passed away, he never got to come home. Jay wanted to come home so badly. “I ❤you Jay!”
