James Weldon Ramsey
JOSHUA — James Weldon Ramsey, 67, died Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2011. James was born on May 8, 1944 in River Oaks, Texas to Levi and Dovie Ramsey. He graduated from River Oaks High School. He married Monica Sue Jones in 1967 and together 3 children. He was an avid motorcylce enthusiest. James was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, son and friend. He preceded in death by his wife, Monica Sue Jones, son Cody Ramsey, granddaughter, Shyanne and his parents. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Survivors: Daughters, Lori Allmon and husband, Jerry of Hubbard, and Jamie Ramsey of Joshua; father-in-law, Arthur Jones of Hubbard; grandchildren, Monica Moss of Mississippi, Nancy Smith of Cleburne,  James D. Ramsey of Oklahoma, Cody James of Hubbard, Jeremiah Murray of Oklahoma, Isaiah Ramsey of Joshua; great-grandchildren, Emily, Maddison, Dakota and Hunter; sister, Diane Dobbins and husband, Tony of Hurst; cousin and best friend, Gene Sutherland and wife, Jonelle of Mineral Wells. “Keep on Ridin”

  1. i wanted to say i am so sorry for your loss, welson was one of the best men i know, he was kind and loving and considerate, he closed his eyes to go be with his wife and son, yall are all inmy thoughts and prayers.
