  31. To the Jim Whitley Family,

I was so sorry to hear about Jims passing.

Jim and I became friends when he first came to Burleson. We had a lot of good times fishing, water skiing , playing softball and dove hunting.
Jim was a great water skier and he was the only one in our group who could ski barefooted. He was always trying to teach us how to ski that way
but no one could figure it out. He was also a good softball player . We played softball all over the place and sometimes Doc would play with us.
    It was great fun.
Jan and I look back on those times with fond memories.
