James B. Reynolds
Cleburne–On Wednesday, March 17, 2004, J. B. Reynolds passed away at the Emery J. Lilge Hospice House at Huguley. J. B. was born on November 25, 1918 near Glen Rose, Texas, to Charlie Monroe and Ida Mae (Spoon) Reynolds. On April 16, 1938, he married Allie Mae Snow, who became his help-mate of 62 years and preceded him in death in 2000. J. B. was a disabled veteran of World War II, who served as a member of the U.S. Army in the South Pacific. He was an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God Church pastoring in North Central Texas dedicating his life to ministering the gospel. He attended Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church and was a longtime member of First Assembly of God Church, of Cleburne. He retired as an aircraft mechanic from the Civil Service in Fort Hood, Texas. J. B. is survived by his daughter, Shirley Evans and husband, Robert, of Hamilton; son, Bobby Reynolds and wife, Dolly, of Joshua; son, Billy Reynolds and wife, Ann, of Granbury and daughter, Ida Milligan, of Lafayette, Colorado; nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; he was preceded in death by five brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 19, 2004, from 6-8 PM, at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home, in Cleburne. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 20, 2004 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne.
