JOSHUA — Hollis Harrison, 79, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2009. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Tuesday in Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at the funeral home. Survivors: Daughters, Sandra Maxfield and Tammie Reed; and four grandchildren.

May you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always, and strength in the companionship of those who share your loss…. I have learned never to underestimate the healing power we all have. It is always there to be used for the highest good. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. (Matthew 5:4) May it be a source of inner strength to know that there’s a loving God watching over you, and that, throughout this time of need, He’ll stay close by your side.
Hollis and I drove Mercedes, Jagura, Lexus, Porsche, and other ‘HghLine’ autos all over the US for several years. When I called his cell phone the first thing I would say is, “Where are you now?” Usually we would be a continent apart. We had some unusual trips, like running ahead of a hurricane coming north from south Florida, driving on ice during snow storms wearing clothes we had worn on a trip to south Florida…etc. It was a pleasure knowing him and I will miss him. I guess that a question of, “Where are you now?” will have to wait.
