Herbert Phillips, Sr.
BURLESON — Herbert Ray Phillips Sr. 74, of Burleson, Texas went to be with the Lord May 1, 2015. Services will be held on 1pm Tuesday, May 5, at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Survivors: his loving wife, Marie Phillips; four sons, Ray Jr.(Tami),Johnny, Kenny (Shona), Micheal, sister; Jean Woodand and ten grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

    Bill and I are deeply saddened by Uncle Ray’s passing. He was a wonderful uncle, loving, and a lot of fun. There was no one like him. We will miss him dearly.

  3. Uncle Ray always held a special place in the hearts of my parents and each of my brothers and sisters. He enriched our lives with love, good humor and much laughter. He lived by example, reinforcing to his immediate and extended family the correct code of ethics and the values of working hard and being grateful. He tucked family into his life and heart. Uncle Ray was an inspiration and his legacy will live on in the hearts of us who knew and loved him.
