Heather Anne Gidley
Heather Anne Gidley, 52, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. Heather was born in Arlington, Texas on October 1, 1970 to Delores Ann and Donald Gene Gidley. After graduating from Arlington High School in 1990, she continued her studies at Texas State University, where she earned a degree in Mass Communication. With her degree, she pursued a career in Human Resources and was well respected by her employers and colleagues. She was an enrolled member of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. Heather is survived by her parents, Don and Dee Gidley of Boerne, Texas, sisters: Tonya Gidley, Donna Gidley-Mitchell (Houston Mitchell), nieces: Juliana Mitchell, Payton Mitchell and Taylor Gidley; her beloved partner, John Villarreal, and numerous extended family members. Beyond her career, Heather enjoyed cooking and creating dishes. She wished to one day take her skills and open her own restaurant. Heather adored all furry creatures and was passionate about rescuing and fostering animals. She was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and looked forward to watching them play. As an avid reader, you could always find a book in her hand. Heather’s family will share memorial service details at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Heather’s name to an animal rescue.

  1. She was a beautiful person inside and out! Uncle Donnie and DeeDee I will be praying for y’all in the days and months ahead. As a family we have all lost a beautiful soul! RIP in peace Heather, you are where we all long to be! We will hold the fort down here until we can all meet again. I love you cuz! GO COWBOYS!
