Galen Koch
FORT WORTH — Galen Koch, 48, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Saturday at Grace Tabernacle Church of the Nazarene, 6301 Granbury Road, Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Survivors: Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Jan; son, Tony Koch and wife, Melanie, of Fort Worth; daughters, Nicki Morgan and husband, Josh, of Benbrook and Athena Koch of Fort Worth; grandson, Matty Ross Koch; mother, Darlene Chandler and husband, Elmer, of Amarillo; father, Robert Koch of Amarillo; brother, Rob Koch Jr. of Amarillo; and sisters, Brenda Olson of Amarillo and Clair Rivera of Fort Worth.

    Please accept my sincerest condolences during this difficult time. You are in my prayers and will continue to be into the future.

    Although I did not work closely with Galen, my interactions with him were pleasant and left me with a sense of how sweet a man he was. After hearing all of the stories at today’s service, my thoughts were confirmed.
