  1. And the teachers and those who are wise shall shine forth like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) shall give forth light, like the stars forever.”

  2. I pay my Tribute to Dominique Roberts by expressing the unconditional Love she expressed (Not only to me, But to all she came in contact with)… To Her parents I pay my respects to also,

  3. …….Carma, Courtney, and Dominique that’s what friends are for…..” (Remember that :))

Dominique, what can I possibly say to someone who has meant so much to me, and been such an important part of my life for so long. I have so many memories that I will treasure all of my life. God blessed me with you and I will forever thank him for that. As I think about not being able to share the rest of my life with you and begin to feel sadness, I can’t help but rejoice over the fact that although satan has stolen your body he couldn’t touch your spirit. A recall a song that says “… it’s in dying that we are born to eternal life…” That is true you know; you just started living. That is what helps me get through this the image of you with your trademark smile running around heaven. Then occasionally looking down saying ” Wow Carma what they said was true and so much more, don’t cry for me I’m happy now and we’ll see each other again real soon.” Or more fitting of Domo’s personality ” Man guys what’s taking you so long. Come on!” You are in the arms of the God who gives you agape love and you deserve no less than that. I’ll see you again, and I can’t wait until that day. Everything you did Domo, you did with your entire being you loved and brought joy to so many people. No one will ever be able to take your place baby girl. You realized what was important in life and because you did many came to Christ. My promise to you is that Satan WILL NOT get away with this. My mom told me how when John, who was Jesus’ cousin, was killed, Jesus cried. Then however, he went out and healed the sick and raised the dead. Basically, things didn’t go back to business as usual. Because of you I realize that the only thing that matters in this life is what you do for Christ; and I will pray for half the courage you had to tell everyone I know about Jesus, just as you said you would do. Then, when I think I can’t tell another person I’ll tell someone else for you. I will I know this is quite wordy but I just want to say that you were more than a cousin to me you were like a sister but more special a friend. Everybody can’t say that their cousin was their friend but God blessed me with you. I love you Domo and always will. C-ya soon. – Carma

  10. TO THE ROBERTS FAMILY I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT LOSING SOME ONE CLOSE TO YOU. IT’S HARD TO LET GO OF THAT LOVE ONE, ESPECIALLY YOUR DAUGHTER. DOMINIQUE HAS NOT LEFTYOU SPIRITUALLY BUT PHYSICALLY.SHE WILL ALWAYS STAY IN YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS. JUST REMEMBER THAT YOUR FAMILY,FRIENDS,AND LOVE ONES HAVE YOUR BACK. 11. You were the joy like you were loved by all you spread joy to all. You will be missed so so so very much, but we all know you’re with Jesus, even though we wish you were here with us. I will miss you, until we see you again, but we know that you are watching over us and speading joy in heaven, and every time the sun shines we know you are smiling in heaven. You will always be in my heart. Until we meet again a piece of my heart will be missing. To Uncle Tommy and Aunt Lynette T.J., and David, words do not expess my feelings and I don’t know any words that can, but to lose your daughter is like losing your eyes it feels like you can’t go on with out them. My heart goes out to you greatly, please be strong. Domo we all used to call her, she ment a great deal to everyone. I will always remember you. She may be gone, but her spirt lives on in our hearts.

  12. Dominique, I wish so much that I could see your beautiful smile that lights up a room once more, but I know I will some day. When I speak of you I speak of the beautiful young lady with the face which has not only a mouth but eyes which smile. I also speak of your love which was always present and unselfishly given. I remember the way you would say Aunt Cynthia and the hugs and kisses you always offered. Your love and warmth will be deeply missed. You have left a “Dominique” shaped hole in all of those who knew and loved you. Just know that we will have a lot of catching up to do some day.

Tommy my wonderful baby brother and Lynette my awesome sister in law, you guys have done

an incredible job with your children as proven by Dominique. She was ready to meet Jesus and all who knew her knew it. What a testimony. You have also raised two incredible sons who will continue to follow as God leads. Tommy, Lynette, TJ and David, I am hurting with you and for you, however my pain can only be a tiny fraction of the immeasurable pain you must be in in the “natural.” But I also know that for us all, God’s Grace is sufficient. I

  13. I love you so much Dominique. You were more than my best friend. You were also my sister. Words can never express how much you meant to me. Although we had our differences, the love I have for you is for eternity.

  14. I would like to Thank You for giving us Dominique. She was a loving teacher to my son Tyler Reed. I will always be grateful to her for making my son smile, laugh and learn to be a better person. She will be so deeply missed but NEVER forgotten. She always shared her happiness through her smile and laughter. You did a great job raising your daughter Mr. and Mrs. Roberts. Someone so young but accomplished many great things in her life. My prayers will always be with your family.

I am blessed to have shared many memories with Dominique!

    God Bless

    Natalie & Tyler Reed

  15. To Uncle Tommy,Aunt Lynette,David and TJ. I could’nt imagine how you feel right at this diffcult time. It’s beyond what words can say right now, my love and heart is with you right now. Dominique I’m going to miss your smile and your positive enegry that your gave when you were around me or anybody. When I found out what happened I could’nt believe it I did’nt want to believe it. I saw you in January and now you’re gone that hurt me inside to know that it will be awhile before we meet again. I always thought that we would be around for each other;to make each other laugh and smile. You were more to me than just a cousin you were like my sister. I’m going to miss you, till we see each other again.

    Love you Dominique,

    Rob

  16. Dominique: you have been gone for a minute but it seems a lifetime I wish I could have just seen you one more time and let you know how special you were to me. We may have fussed and fought but there was nothing but love there. Even now, you wonder why? but realize for some reason it was in Gods plan and I am thankful he allowed me those 18 years with you one earth. I can still see you smiling. Even now it pains me and is surreal because a peice of me is gone, a special place in my heart is hurting so much. As I look through photos I remember the good times you were always fun and you had a heart for children and touched there lives too. Dancer a Master of sign language, intelligent: your destiny was as big as your dreams. I cannot tell you how much I love that you were a part of my life.We were cousins and it is kind of played out but you were like a sister. Someday I will see you again. To Uncle Tommy, Aunt Lynette, David and T.J. words don’t express what has happened and anything I say would not express what I feel but I love you, I will pray for you and if you need to talk to someone I am here. To anyone who reads this and was touched by this womans life or by mine, I just want to let you know I love you no matter what. See you again my friend

  17. Domi as I called her with love and all my heart. You will be missed but always remembered.Your heart was big as the world you lived in.Your life was a shining light a grand star that lit up the world around you.Domi say a praise the Lord for the rest of us for I know that you are with the Lord and the rest of the angelic host. Tommy and Lynette you are great parents and great servants of the Lord and it shows in the beautiful star you raised. May the peace of God and the strength of his love surround you at this time.

  18. Domonique, It pains me very much to be with out you here on this earth. I feel like a part of me is gone. I love you very much and I appreciate all the good times we had together. I know that my life will never ever be the same with you not in it. Domonique, I love you very much. To the parents friends and family I say stay strong and never give up hope because you know that “Domo” wouldn’t have it any other way. That is just the type of person she was.

  36. I am so sorry for Dominique’s death. She was really important to everybody because of her kindness, and her love for everybody. When she was at our church she taught all the little

children(like me) this song called stand strong. I really bieleive that, because I can see in Dominique’s heart she is a strong girl. When I heard the news that she passed away I started to pray about her whole family and hope that they are taking it well. I remeber Dominique’s smile everyday when we went to church. Her smile just lit up the whole entire room. I can not bieleive that Dominique passed away, because in my spirit she is still there right in front of me smiling and laughing, and having a good ol’ time. I am still praying for her and her

  81. Dear Dominique,

The last time that I saw you was on Christmas Day 0f 2003. You went on to be with the Lord that following February. I remember you on your birthdays and even every February. I also remember you throughout the year…I remember you whenever I think of snow angels because you made a snow angel with Chris the last time I saw you in Friendship, I also remember you whenever I think about getting in trouble as a child because those times often involved you…like waiting for “the boys” to go to sleep so that we could play pranks, I especially think about you when I hear certain songs like “My Life is In Your Hands” because you used to dance so passionately to that song. When I think about you, I smile because you illuminated so many lives with your joy. When I think about you, I sometimes weep because I will never share moments of this life on earth with you again. I will never stop thinking about you Dominique. I know that you are in the presence of God, but I wonder if you ever think of me too. Love you, and one day I hope to see you welcoming me into the gates of heaven. Love Always!–Courtney (aka by you as “Corny” 🙂 )

  82. Domo,

My baby girl you have been with me everyday for all of these years. In just a few days you would have been celebrating your 31st birthday. You know that we will celebrate it as if you were here with us.

I never thought that I would have to spend so many days on this earth without you to “thump” my ear or give me a bear hug or even scratch your Dad’s back.

I often wonder what you are doing in heaven…here on earth without you I am longing for an ear thump, a bear hug and even the occasional back scratch as only my darling Niq-Niq can do it.

    See you soon babe,

    Daddy

  83. Hey Domo,

Well another year passes as your Mom and I, TJ, David and your extended family misses you terribly.

Krystal & Stephanie are a tremendous blessing to your brothers. For both Mom and I, they have filled some of the “space” that you left behind when you departed.

It is hard for me to believe that you have been gone 14 years this month. I know that there are plenty of people that remember you and cherish the time that they spent with you while you were here with us.

My heart is filled with mixed emotions every time I think of you or walk by one of your many pictures here at home. I do so long to be with you when it is my time.

Hey guess what…you have the cutest nieces and nephews (s). They are all very beautiful and super smart. They all know who you are and they ask about you frequently.

Aleighcia, Madison, Autumn and wait for it…Dominick who was named in your honor. There is also one more nephew on the way; Miles!!!

We are all excited because we know that he is there with you and the Lord until it is time for him to head this way!

I miss you babe and I know that you are where you always wanted to be. We are working overtime to get people ready to go to heaven to be with the Lord.

I will write more another time, see you soon!

    Dad

  84. It has been 14 years, and my heart still aches for you like it was yesterday! No matter how much time goes by, I can always find myself sitting and thinking about all of our fondest memories. I find myself thinking of you constantly and seeing you in my dreams, and it just brings such joy and heartache all at once. O how I miss singing Kirk Franklin’s “Hosanna” and dancing around in full praise with you. I love you and miss you so much my love! Continue resting in peace; and in God’s grace, we’ll see each other once again.

Constant prayers and strength for your family!

  85. Wow! Time truly does fly with a blink huh? Miss you constantly and truly wish you were here. Continue smiling and laughing how I know you are. Those memories will be cherished forever. Sweet dreams friend! 💕🙏🏾
