Diana Dady Jones
Venus, Texas—- Diana was born on November 18, 1954 in Fairfax, OK to Charles Lee and Jessie Irene Dady (Peak). She went to be with her Lord on Friday, December 23, 2011. She passed away at her home surrounded by the ones who loved and cherished her. She was 57. Diana is survived by her husband of 33 years, Wales Franklin “Frank” Jones of Venus, Texas. She is also survived by her children, sons, Arthur Battenfield and wife Katherine, Wales Franklin “Lil Frankie” Jones, both of Venus, and daughter Jessica Jones, also of Venus. She also is survived by step-daughter Christina of Weatherford. Diana had 5 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Battenfield of Venus, Dustin and Kourtnee Spray of Midlothian, TX, Savannah and Latosha Walley of OK. Diana is also survived by her siblings: sisters: Charlet and Leroy Wall of Whitney, TX, Donna McLemore of Venus, Betty Dady of Bonham, TX, and one brother Charles Wayne Dady and wife Vicky of Alvarado, TX. She is also survived by her father Charles Lee Dady of Midlothian, TX and best friends for over 20 years Mike and Dianna Roveto also of Venus, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Irene Dady (Peak). Diana’s family moved from Oklahoma to McKinney, Texas when they were teens. Diana and Frank were married in 1978 in Grand Prairie, TX and have lived in Venus for over 20 years. Diana loved to share her life stories with all whom she held close to her heart. Her favorite things were spending time with her family and friends, her grandchildren, cooking, and scratching lotto tickets. Diana worked for Titan for over 10 years, but was more content at being a mother and housewife and always being there for her family. Her faith in the Lord and the love for her family and friends were her strength in helping her through her last days here with us. Diana will dearly be missed by all that knew and loved her. Diana’s wish was to have a memorial to celebrate her life that will take place Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Bar Cross Ranch Cowboy Church 12001 E. FM 917 Alvarado, TX 76009

  1. We going to miss you Diana so much, I know that your above us with the lord and watching over all of us!!!! It breaks my heart knowin your not with us anymore I still can’t belive it I dont want to at all… Alivia asked the other day were’s mimi omg I just started cryin she said whats wrong mama? I told her you went up to eaven to be with god and she said thats soo sad I said no baby it’s ok she’s watchin over us with the angels!!! were all be together again one day I love you sooo much Im going to miss ur cookin and your laughand how thoughtful you were in soo many ways.. Diana your were a great mother you were the best a kid could want u know you were my 2 mom are family is soo much alike its crazy jessica knows, lol Im soo glad I went up there on ur birthday and saw you that was a good day for me to vist we talk and a held your hand spent a little time with you on ur bday I kiss you on your forhead and said I love you happy birthday I’ll see you soon!!! That was my last time talkin to you.. You knew who I was and was able to talk to me soo Im glad I saw you up there I wanted to come by but never did I know i wouve been the biggset crybaby next to jessica and I knew you didnt want us to cry b/c you knew everything would be ok… It will too, It’s going to take a alot of time but we know you want us to live and be happy knowin that your ok now and we dont have to worry, Alivia will ask qustions I will answer them and tell her great story’s like that one day me and her came by and it was just us and it was a pretty day we set outside by the tree and you let Alivia make some mud pies lol lol Gotta love the mud pies;) Well Im going to let you go for now I will talk to you more in my prayers love you Diana

  2. Sorry that Diana has passed from this earth away from family and friends that love her very much. But I rejoice in the fact that she has gone to Heaven to be with her Heavenly Father. Remember that you will be reunited with her in Heaven some day.

  3. Hey Mimi, I don’t know if people still look at this , or if I will ever post this …but it’s almost 10 years later and I cannot say that it’s easy. I’m a freshman in college, and working really really hard for you. I hope you’re doing okay, at least better than when you were down here. I love and miss you so very much!
