Deborah “Debbie” Barron Kelly
Deborah “Debbie” Barron Kelly, age 68, of Corinth, TX, completed her incredible circle of life, and what a fantastic ride it was, the adventure of a lifetime! And it only continues in returning that round trip to heaven and completing the journey, on August 13, 2023. Debbie was born August 7, 1955, in Portland, ME to Donald Paul and Marjorie Moore Barron. She spent her childhood in Annandale, Va., San Rafael, CA, Huntington Beach, CA, and Newport Beach, CA. She moved to Texas in 1977 and spent most of her adult life in Dalhart, TX. Debbie retired to New Mexico in 2010 and moved to Corinth, TX in 2020 to be closer to family. She and Jim Kelly were married on February 14, 1985. Debbie loved her husband & family dearly & deeply and considered them her most valuable gift. Survivors include her husband, Jim; three daughters; Christy Kelly Chumley & husband Chris, of Corinth, TX.; Susan Kelly Ridge & husband Brad of Amarillo, TX.; and Stephanie Kelly Urban of Van Alstyne, TX.; 4 grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Barron Sabel & husband Mike of Magalia, CA.; two brothers, Donald Paul Barron, Jr. of Centreville, VA., and William Wingate “Bill” Barron and wife Donna of Woodbridge, VA., and numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marjorie and Donald Barron, and brother, Tom Barron. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy and remembrance to consider making a donation in her name to Heart Failure Society of America, Court International, Suite 240 South, 2550 University Avenue West, St. Paul, MN 55114. She always made the absolute most of that dash between her arrival & departure dates! Her smile, laughter, fun spirit, kindness, and love will be deeply missed, but never forgotten by her family & many, many friends.

  1. Worked for her at Rita Blanca…. tough lady but always smiling even when being a tough boss … sorry to hear of her passing and offer my deepest condolences to her family I know she will be missed deeply
