Clay was the older brother I was always a little in awe of as a child,I guess because of the navy uniform. As a grown-up we enjoyed coming to visit Clay and Laverna because they always showed us an enjoyable time. He had a smile through all of his pain and was very courageous, always trying to help someone else through a tough time. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Love and prayers,to Lavrna and the kids

Although we only knew Clay a short time, we loved him. He was a giving, caring person and we miss him as a neighbor and friend. Our prayers go to the family and his sweet wife, LaVerna.

Clay was one of the best people I have ever known. He was always willing to help others and would always be there if you needed help with your A/C. I will always remember Clay and look forward to seeing him when I get to heaven. He was very special person.

The community of Hickory Hills has not been the same since you left. You both brought so much support and joy. Clay was one of the most honest and giving people that we’ve ever been acquainted with. We sure miss him.
We know you and your family are hurting. Never lose your faith and hope. It will carry you through, especially in difficult times. As we’ve told you in the past, we’re here for you if you need anything.
May God Bless you and your family through this period. Our love and prayers are with you.
