Alvarado–Charlotte Lee (Hauk) Tidwell, 69, of Alvarado, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2003, in Fort Worth. Graveside services for Mrs. Tidwell will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, with Rev. Michael Toliver officiating. Mrs. Tidwell was born June 25, 1934, in Covington, Texas, the daughter of Quincy Charles and Louella (Scott) Hauk, Sr. She married Ross Tidwell September 1, 1951, in Covington, Texas. He preceded her in death April 29, 2000. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bruce Tidwell, July 16, 1996, and one grandson and two great-granddaughters. She was a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Darrell Tidwell and wife, Penny, of Alvarado, Glenn Tidwell and wife, Catherine, of Cleburne and David Tidwell and wife, Elizabeth, of Somerville; one daughter, Cheryl Rodrigues, of Alvarado;three sisters, Lucille Jobe, of Alvarado, Laura Nickell, of Grandview and Judy Keesee, of Cleburne; three brothers, Charles Hauk, of Covington, Delton Hauk and Bobby Hauk, both of Cleburne; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
