Alvarado–Charlotte Lee (Hauk) Tidwell, 69, of Alvarado, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2003, in Fort Worth. Graveside services for Mrs. Tidwell will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne, with Rev. Michael Toliver officiating. Mrs. Tidwell was born June 25, 1934, in Covington, Texas, the daughter of Quincy Charles and Louella (Scott) Hauk, Sr. She married Ross Tidwell September 1, 1951, in Covington, Texas. He preceded her in death April 29, 2000. She was also preceded in death by one son, Bruce Tidwell, July 16, 1996, and one grandson and two great-granddaughters. She was a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Darrell Tidwell and wife, Penny, of Alvarado, Glenn Tidwell and wife, Catherine, of Cleburne and David Tidwell and wife, Elizabeth, of Somerville; one daughter, Cheryl Rodrigues, of Alvarado;three sisters, Lucille Jobe, of Alvarado, Laura Nickell, of Grandview and Judy Keesee, of Cleburne; three brothers, Charles Hauk, of Covington, Delton Hauk and Bobby Hauk, both of Cleburne; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson’s Society, 3003 LBJ Freeway, Suite #125E, Dallas, Texas, 75234-7755.

She was such a gentle caring soul of family and friends.
I always thougt of my sister, Charlotte, as the most beautiful person in the world.
I remember my aunt fondly, and will always care for her deeply. She will be missed deeply. I Know that she is sitting with the rest of the family waiting for us to arrive.
