Charley Lee “Chockie” White, 56, of Alvarado, died Sunday, July 13, 2003 at his residence. He was a retired concrete construction business owner. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 17 at 10 a.m. at Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home of Burleson/Fort Worth. Pastor Dutch Mann will officiate, assisted by David Jameson. Burial will be a Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Chockie is survived by his wife of 39 years, Marha White; daughters, Kristie Pettijohn and husband Mike of Burleson, Cara White of Georgia; sons, Randall “Todd” White of Georgia and Charley Lee White, Jr. of Alvarado; grandchildren, Colton White, Mitchell and Michael “Mikie” Pettijohn, all of Burleson; sisters, Louella Pryor, Margie Grimes, Javona Richey and Tonya Northum; many nieces and nephews; loving church family and friends.
